De las aves que vuelan, me gusta el chancho. De las flores silvestres, las empanadas.
This is a song that I learned in southern Bolivia, whilst working on a vineyard with many a jolly soul. Yes, the words are nonsense, but there is a lesson to be learned from this. The song is to be sung with a passion, from the heart, and of course with a smile on the face. It goes to show that you don´t always have to understand something to reap the benefit of happiness from your experience. And experience is life. The more experiences you have, the more you live, and by stepping outside of your comfort zone you unlock the potential for exponential happiness. Get out there and do something crazy.
¡No dejes para mañana lo que tú puedes hacer hoy!
